The conclusion to the haunting MASTEMA story. We see MASTEMA in his final form and the evil that is spawned off of him. This villain is ready to wreak havoc on galaxies and devour innocent souls.

The Kings of Centauri do not know Mastema well enough
The power that emanates from his wake has surpassed any prior findings
His whereabouts are unknown

Let us rest, it feels like it’s been a longer journey
Than the lives we knew on home world
These evocations in the far reaches, they have left us weary

Activating cryogenic chambers now
Ensure all necessary preparations are complete
Before entering sleep sequence

The chambers not only preserve the entirety of you in the state you are now
But they will also emit the required brainwaves to induce a perpetual dreamstate
Throughout your hibernation
You’ll feel like you’re living in parallel universes
If you’ve harnessed the capabilities to lucid dream at will
Well, then your experience could fill additional lifetimes
In the decades of your hibernation

Her beauty, my bare feet on her soil

Need not worry about your crew
For when they wake, it will have been but a blip in the timeline
And you know with our dream sequences
We’ll all be as comfortable as we need to be

It’s not my crew I worry for, it is our home
The universe is shuffling its cards, do you feel it too?
He who still seeks the love our universe could never provide?

That is his curse, the human curse
He will never be satisfied with what exists in the present
He has been played by his own desires
Just like every other lifeform there is

Time punishes those that disobey it
If the universe has brought us this far
To be absorbed into some Velestial entity’s prophecy
Then so be it, at least I gave my time here everything I have
But this mission, this mission
Is the debt I owe death for giving me time to try
